These photos are of the boards and club house of the Picnic Bay Surf Life Saving Club on the Strand, Townsville.  They have a lively bar overlooking the ocean and Magnetic Island, which is a wonderful place to enjoy some jazz music on a Sunday Afternoon also.

    Love the idea of surf life saving clubs 🙂
    We hope to get our boys interested in learning to swim better in the ocean, and we are going to be checking out the life saving clubs where we head to next.
